I don't know of any TA indicator which would be showing a bottom at this point. Of course, we've had a complete technical breakdown. That's partly why I suggested that we need to see a prolonged basing period. There is absolutely no reason to buy now. For anyone who can't help themselves, I think the earlier suggestion of averaging in over a long period of many months is not a bad idea.

Can anyone suggest a technical indicator that points to a reversal?

East Pole, I must confess that I personally I am not much of a TA fan.

But if I recall correctly, even some TA enthusiasts around here have admitted that TA is not much help in predicting oil service companies' stock prices at the moment. You might be better advised to try predicting the price of oil, whether producing countries will significantly reduce production, what policies, if any, will be adopted vis-a-vis Iran and Iraq, etc., etc......

Watch the fundamentals for a change and pay attention to the volume related indicators; volume indicators typically hint at the turn first. Feeding off the bottom is not a healthy diet.
