I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how long it will take to do a full account transfer from my old broker to Datek?

It's unfortunate my name is attached to this post therefore I'm limited in expressing my honest opinion & recent experiences with Datek. I strongly suggest investigating all the alternatives before subjecting ones money to considerable losses on false pretenses.

I will share one of them. The first is Live order - Processing, I know I am not going to get filled either on the buy or the sell. I am watching a Level II and put my orders in when there are ample MMs wanting to sell or buy and Datek just cant seem to be able to get me the shares I want. I normally deal in 1000 shares or less on any transactions to make it easier on them to fill the order.

It is even worse if you just see processing, I have received this message 3 times, during a fast market on certain issues, only to have datek lose the orders.
