Thought (or rather hoped) MVIS would hold up well and actually it did until yesterday :-) Day to day fluctuation shouldn't matter much. This is a very futuristic and visionary company with solid technology.

The stock is very volatile... I've adopted a strategy of maintaining a floating investment level, buying when it dips, selling off chunks when it rises 10 or 15% inside of a week.

I recently unloaded 630 shares at 11 3/8ths and will be looking to buy in again, once the price stabilizes for two or three days.

I've done the same thing with my EXDS stock, I've sold off three
chunks at 46 or so (now it is trading at 40 something) after quick rises, and held when it dropped or bought in.

Basically, I'm just flat out nervous about the whole market, and am holding a lot in cash (6% returns in a money market account doesn't bother me that much). I made the decision to liquidate about 50% of my stocks when I saw an article mentioning that the economy would probably actually *contract* this quarter, after doing 5% last quarter.

I'm afraid a lot of other people are going to react very negatively when this is officially announced, and a lot of stocks are going to get thoroughly pummelled for no particular reason, especially with the mutual funds being forced to unload to pay redemptions.
