>>I started since it was $45 and don't think I would recover
not to mention the expired puts and reduced value option.<<

That was about where I started too. I double my position lately. I believe it will back to that level, perhaps even lower, within six months.

F The: "Wow, it bounces back up to $122 and the market turns to the upside. What is happening? "

The market is reacting schizophrenic. Half of it says "Everything is at the top SELL." Then the other half says, "Hey look AMZN is down 10, BUYING OPPORTUNITY!!!"

It's like that "Push-me-Pull You" Llamma in Doctor Doolittle. (The original) Just can't make up it's mind.

:-)

FThe??
< What is happening>
It was an interesting day. As you know I have been talking about the Jeff Vinick, accumulation of Amzn stock for some time.
Today, I had a well healed friend call Vinik. His fund is called the 'Vinik asset mgmt group' (boston mass.). They told us this fund is private, so they do not have to report to anyone. The only info, they will release is to investors that they, decide as suitable. The minimum investment, Vinik will except is $2.5 mil.
Did you get that?
Those who control the float, control the stock price.
The good news is, IF the Street continues to stay 'Goosey', Vinik might decide to leave. Trust me.
Oh, I've been trying to find out who he trades through. I haven't finished my research but, it looks like ' Troster'. If anyone can do some research on this small brokerage, it would help us.
When, and only when, Vinik leaves, will you see Amzn stock back, to where it belongs.
Trust me.
