Check out IPTY. This is the symbol for iParty, a new company with Jim McCann of 1-800-Flowers as one of the founding shareholders. They did the merger and name change in the last few weeks. Through the internet they plan to dominate the party goods and services industry. Byron Hero, former CEO of Danskins is the CEO of iParty. Bob Lessin, 'New York tech stock Angel' is another founding shareholder. He was formerly Vice Chairman with Soloman Smith Barney, and is now with Wit Capital, the internet IPO firm. iParty plans on having their website up and running in late September.
