ahead, despite a weaker Eastern and

to preliminary data released
today by International Data Corporation (IDC).


Dell's performance remains consistently impressive, across all its
carefully chosen geographies, and for the first time took the number 2
position in the EMEA region as both Hewlett-Packard and IBM had slowerquarters.
