$6.16 on HIGH--$5.04 on LOW Globalink negotiated a transaction that will provide stockholders a price of $6.16 on the high side (LHSPF at $64.50) and $5.04 (LHSPF at $52.65)on the lowside. If LHSPF does not change over 10% in either direction the merger price for the stock is $5.60. It closed at $4.62 on 7/20. Please take a look at Lernout and Hauspie, they are a good fit for GNK and their stock has certainly performed over the last two years, the IPO was $11.00 per share in 1996 and it trades in the $50 - $60.00 range after a 2 for 1 split in April 1998. Microsoft is also invested $45 million (8% stockholder) in LHSPF this year. I hope this helps. Attached is the GNK press release.
