can you please explain to me what the role of SOES ISLD and SelectNet is in performing a daytrade...

for example if one wanted to buy 1000s of WXYZ would the best (meaning best price and fastest execution) way be through SOES?

and then after that... what is the best way to sell 1000s of WXYZ as the stock is coming off its run up... i have been told that you don't want to let the MM's and institutions "see" you trying to get out since they'll turn the stock against you...

for instance.. should we use instinet? selectnet? ISLD? SOES? reduce the number of shares being sold?

also if it isn't too much trouble can you please tell me who can see each of the routes i mentioned... SOES ISLD Instinet and Select Net...

thank you very much.
