Gary,

Both CSCO and LU are great companies and are on the top of my list as core holdings for the next decade, along with MSFT and YHOO!. I will also strongly consider DELL and AOL, both of which are not cheap, but deserve serious consideration for accumulation.

The retreat indeed gave lots of people another excellent chance to take positions of these super super stocks.

larry!

I really like KING CSCO.

Gary, thanks for the info. I get it, ..... so to play both ends just own LU and CSCO. Right???

Msft, notice how it behaved in the sell off??? Not to shabby !! I bought at 47 over a year ago and then more at 84 about a month back. Basically, this is the company everyone loves to hate.

I just have a feeling that Bill Gates knows what he is doing. After all, doesn't he hang with Chambers and Dell? ggg

The 3 of them will rule the universe some day soon.

I own NO Lucent. Is there any entry point in this one or does it just keep slipping away like msft??

Have a great and restful weekend, especially after this week !!

Yeah, MSFT has been cranking! I don't own any and keep looking for that elusive entry point which apparently will never come. Guess I'll have to be happy with my CSCO.

Just buy some when it's expensive and if you do get your entry point then buy more. I finally just said screw it and bought some in early February at a split-adjusted 68-9/16. Glad I did.

If you're long term then some of these companies are better off bought expensively rather than not bought at all.
