Jim,

Re: "K6-2...................81mm2 yes 3dnow 266-300-333-350MHz.....$35"

Jim, you are "HYPE'ing" again ... Obviously the "cost" and "price" of the
350mhz K6-2 will be much higher than for the 266mhz and 300mhz K6-2. This
is due to the need to "bin" parts to just get a few 350mhz K6-2's ... Unless
you are implying that AMD gets all their K6-2's to yield at 350mhz. No
one will believe that ... I mean, the part isn't even available yet (samples only).
Please try to post facts ... not conjecture based on your "desires" or
"tea leaves". <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

McMannis - Re: "Celeron II...die size 165mm2 no 3dnow 300-333Mhz approx. cost $90"

You are WRONG - about $40 to $50 too high.

Re: "K6-2...................81mm2 yes 3dnow 266-300-333-350MHz.....$35"

If it cost AMD $35 to make a K6-2 they would be selling it for $29.95.

Paul

Does your estimate of the K6 cost assume 100% yield?
