"The firm of Behre Dolbear & Company, Inc. has been retained to act as a consultant to legal counsel...

"...as a consultant to legal counsel." If I interpret this correctly, Behre Dolbear, retained as a consultant to legal counsel, is bound under the laws of attorney/client privledge. Therefore, any forthcoming information regarding Behre Dolbear, its presence in Cagalli or progress of their study must be dispersed to the stockholders and media via the legal representatives of GE, and not by BD itself.

If I managed a law firm, I certainly wouldn't authorize the monies for such a survey if I wasn't in posession of information that proved to me to a substantial degree of certainty that the ensuing report would be of far greater value than any expenses incurred. And if I were representing a client I knew or suspected was guilty of fraud, I'd be institutionalized if I funded an investigation whose end would serve only to prove my client's guilt.

This leads one to ask; if the company is cash poor or totally bereft of capital, what private party or entity is providing retainer for counsel? And for what reason? To continue the perpetration of a hoax? To continue throwing money down the same rat hole? Again, someone must be awfully damned sure about the presence of recoverable gold and a great deal of it! Unless GE is being backed by the U.S. government, the latter scenario makes much more sense to me.

Hang in there fellow suffering shareholders! Just don't expect the attorneys to be forthcoming with a lot of information at this time. I'm sure we'd all agree that now, as relates to the SEC and the dispersal of public information, is a time for caution and discression. After all, when you're holding a Royal Flush, you only need to wait for the rest of the bets to be placed and the remaining cards to be played! This is going to be a six-month hand, though, but that will only make the raking of the pot all the sweeter!
