Dear Captain Kirk,

It is obvious to all on this board that you are sorry you gave
up your position in Cabletron. Now, your interest is to make
as many negative and useless comments as possibly. Admit to
yourself that you made a mistake. You know that Cabletron
is going up. It is going to take a little more patience but it is
going up. So is oil, but who knows how long that will be. The last
time oil went down, it stayed down for 10-14 years.

Cabletron is no different than all the other technology stocks. All
the technology stocks are out of favor and suffering. The marketplace
is in terrible shape.

But, I know deep down that you know that Cabletron is a good buy.
Afterall, you took the time to go to the shareholder's meeting.
You know that this company has a good future. But, above all, you
have a nagging voice deep in your subconscious telling you that
there is a great possibility that Cabletron will be bought out...
and at a price that would be exceeding painful for you to see.

So, before you give yourself more pain, buy some of the CS shares
back that you hastily sold. Join us again. You will have to have
more patience, but you will be handsomely rewarded.

Jeff Bertrand

Attention Private James T. Kirk!!!!! Many of us here where probably fooled by you. Here you were not too long ago in fact, hyping CS as an excellent stock too have in your portfolio. Now all of a sudden you change your tune. Why don't you take your oil stocks and go start a new thread somewhere else. Quit wasting our time by posting here. Nobody cares about your oil stocks. At least I could say I don't. Who could trust you anyway. Do us all a favor take a hike PRIVATE! Lets keep this thread about CS. If it tanks shame on us. Eddie

Captain Kirk, I finally took a look at your oil stocks and agree with you to the extent that I added MDCO to my portfolio. I prefer beaten down technology stocks, but the value characteristics are much the same.

At the end of the day, I could give a rats ass if the product is an ATM switch, a disc drive (RDRT!!), or a barrel of Fri#@*$ oil as long as the company prospers in a recovering sector, and it puts a buck in my pocket!

As far as I'm concerned you can post about oil or anything else on the CS thread. I'm hear to learn what I don't know; not reconfirm what I think I know already.
