While I of course do not know if that is the case, Jubimer, it is consistent with a hire AXC made a few months ago. The job offer specifically cited sputtering a thin film to magnetic heads. The most effective way AXC could ever license any patent is to first use it successfully themselves.

The tax liability carry forward language from the 10Q basically means that since they changed alot of the ownership based on the preferred stock deals the NOLs will expire partially worthless ... the laws on use of NOLs is complex, but they work to preserve the benefits so long as the owners who experienced the losses are the owners who will get the benefit of the NOLs harboring future tax payments ... any significant ownership changes means less NOLs available ... not all that important today, though a $100MM NOL is a valuable asset if you could use a big piece of it ...
Can someone tell me the best place to find patents that AXC is filing? Thanks in advance.
