I think it would be helpful for all of us at this point to focus on the behavior on the stock threads and leave conjecture about PM conspiracies and personal moral fiber alone. This is what I tried to do in my first post on the topic, which included an admission that I too had gotten caught up in the personal invective.
I am new to trading and have spent a great deal of time on SI trying to learn and develop a style. I've concluded that, for me, investing in BB stocks is too risky (and not good for my mental health as far as stress goes!!) But I know there are others for whom this type of investment is acceptable. It appears to me accepting this kind of risk includes accepting the presence of both hypesters and bashers on the thread.
BTW, I see nothing wrong in communicating with others via PM. It affords us a bit more privacy, and that can be a good thing, don't you think?

Welcome to SI Sandy W
or
Excuse me Ladies.
Welcome to SI Horswspr

Sandy, I detect a note of anger in your message over the attack of the FBN crowd, of which you assume I must be one.
I see the thread has actually turned to the Secret Squirrels, I presume you are one.
I was the person who arrived at your thread, not the FBN crowd.
A look at the SIDY chart should give you an idea why.

I am not associated with FBN in anyway, though I have publicly stated my intention of trying out for the position of kicker when the new stadium in Sedona is finished, that is in the future and depends on the racketeering indictments that have been rumoured.

After posting a few messages on your thread, I left, I unbookmarked it, and never bothered with it again. My intent was not to spoil your fun, just to tell the story that I saw mentioned. I also stopped using squirrel jokes, the less said the better. The idea that I suggested was serious, let everybody in on it.

I do not care for Dave Gore, any consequences he suffers for his posts are his alone to endure, not mine. I was trying to hit a nerve. I do not get into fights with posters, generally. I may on occasion challenge posters, I try to be friendly. Mr. Gore was creating his own stage, I did not want to be part of his play. I am sure in the future he will be happy to leave me out. I often get messages directed at me, not at the things I say about the company. If you are following the shrimp saga you may get an idea of what I mean. You can clearly divide the world into two parts, to each...

Sandy,

Mr Forthright (hardly) shorts stocks. He does not do this in a benign fashion, but uses scare tactics to frighten gullible investors who believe his tripe in an effort to profit from their fear. Nice guy huh? Sandy, is Mr. Forthright, forthright about even such a trivial thing as his name?

Regards, Dave
