Ken,

Negative posts come in, at least, two flavors.

Consider those posts that (1) present facts and well reasoned opinions for consideration by the readers versus posts that (2) present, in a know it all manner, opinions as facts and employ inflammatory language that triggers an emotional response by the reader.

Posts of both categories are published by bulls and bears.

Clearly some of the readers are not interested in reading the second category of posts. But, they might well read posts by the same persons if they would appeal to the reader's reason rather than his emotion.
