My Market Order
or
Recently I had this Experience

I placed a market order to sell a stock I owned, the price was falling at the time I placed my order. I did not receive the price I expected because my broker did not execute my market order.

The next day I contacted the supervisors of my broker and we reviewed the order as placed and the time of the order. The firm honored my market order and the trades were so recorded to my account. The firm that did this for me lost money, but did honor my order.

I reviewed JEM's post and her response to my pointing it out here.

You're experience and mine differ. It is apparent that you feel JEM's posting into that thread, at that time had merit.

I obviously disagree.

You may call it coincidence.
She clearly identified herself as a fan of Big Dogs which would explain why she was buying this stock.

I only point out the fact that at the very height of the PUMP phase on this stock, posters were discussing Market vs Limit orders. JEM's experience has likely been deeply disconcerting, my concern was that the relating of this experience to the thread at that time could honestly be considered hype, she may of course simply have been relating her tale.

I have sent an Email to Suretrade and will let you know what they have to say about Market Orders and their firm when they reply.

The post under discussion
