I have heard the theory about the eastward trend before. The play will open up again if MEO or someone else hits. I hope it does, one way or the other. I can not prove the theory or disprove it, so until the facts are in, it is just that, a theory. The same can be said for the opposing side of the highlands theory that the MMU/MIX JV properties are based on.

With regards to the mounding features, I am not suggesting that they are all kimberlite, just that the feature does exist and that some may very well still be kimberlite. Because the drilling did not intersect kimberlite the first go around, they are being smarter this time and doing a more complete surface exercise before going after the drilling again. We will see what they turn up. So far I am willing to bite off on the part of the exercise I am more familiar with. That being the current area that they have JV'd with MIX.

Salut,
Leigh McBain

PS - if everyone was working on the same concept of what the geology was suggesting then we would have much smaller claim blocks and everyone would be following exactly the same pattern and all would either hit or miss, at least this way more bases are covered. Maybe we all learn something in the long run.
