Let me get this straight - while other competitors have turned themselves around in difficult times, HWP has missed roughly 9 of the last 12 quarters . Think it's just because they are unable to compete in the printer market? Given the size and scope of the company, that answer should be no. Which can only lead to the conclusion that what this company needs is a visionary and proactive management team that is able to capitalize on its vast array of resources in order to bounce back from prior mistakes. Getting anyone from DELL would be a good start. Which leads to the next question: why did the stock rally yesterday in light of the earlier preannouncement? The answer lies in the fact that just like INTC, or even MOT in fits and starts, the same situation arises: after a period of time has passed, the overwhelming question becomes: how much worse can it possibly get?"
