I've just found out, much to my extreme disappointment, that if you have a Dell with an STB Velocity 128 video card, you can't use multimon under Win98. The driver doesn't support it, and they have no time estimate for when it will.

I guess that means I'll have to get two pci cards and not use the card that came with the computer. What a waste. :(

Always manufacturing issues, Tweaking a new silicon process is a demanding and time consuming task. Sometimes it doesn't proceed as quickly as planned. Intel likes to have sufficient volume of chips available when they release to satisfy the initial demand.
