I wasn't applying any valuation principles just musing about where I thought the stock price could head as more prices cuts are announced and perhaps another tidbit or two of bad news for the sector as a whole is announced.

How the stock price rose against the common knowledge that the PC market is actually where it is, is beyond me. I thought when IBM's news came out there would be a selloff of GTW and DELL. I've been hearing reports on NPR almost daily about the PC slump -- when it gets national attention like that I figure it's old news, but GTW was in the 60's at the same time selling predominantly high price machines -- go figure.

Now watch them claim not many weeks hence that they are kicking butt selling the low end machines.
