AGM Summary: The status quo continues. I won't go into the details because they don't matter, but today's chronology of events was: 1) Confusion reigned over who was eligible to vote. Many street name shareholders were apparently not eligible, for instance. In the end, the board allowed late proxies to be eligible to vote. 2) The existing board was voted in for another year (two of the eight members chose not to be on the slate - I forget which two but they weren't Kemp and Gordon - so we have six board members as of today). Arkoosh had voiced his concerns that Kemp and Gordon should not be re-elected because of spending money on the drilling campaign, opposition to JL testing and so forth. Kemp simply said Arkoosh is wrong and wouldn't respond point for point to the latter's concerns. Arkoosh had himself and Greg John nominated but neither got enough votes to get on the board. 3) Q and A period. The questions were mostly about assay testing and results over the past few years. $1.8 million in the bank, BTW. They'll try to make Venezuela a break-even project so as not to divert funds from FL. 4) Management's approach is to wait and see what happens before deciding what to do next (e.g. wait for Ledoux's response to the present controversy). Meeting started rather late (say 10:30 am) and finished at something like 4:30 - 5:00 pm, with nearly two hours for lunch. Rand
