I spoke with Ligand's VP Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, Susan Atkins, today. In brief, nothing but good news on the horizon. Currently 2 products are in front of FDA awaiting approval - 1 or both may be approved by the end of the year (1998); one may be launched in the fourth quarter (this year). 3 more NDAs will be filed late in 1998 or early 1999. 2 or 3 more NDAs in 1999. Seragen deal to be consummated soon. She is unaware of anything related to the performance of the company that would cause the decline in the price of the stock. --db as someone once said, "the market will tend to fluctuate".
