If it's on the internet, accessible to millions whether SI members or not, why would you consider &#147&#133this posting stuff to be a telephone conversation between 2 people&#133&#148 (not trying to argue&#151just trying to understand your train of thought)

Anyone can read your messages - not just those why have bookmarked your profile. The analogy of a telephone conversation doesn't work, except perhaps if you were to call in to a radio talk show where everyone is listening in to the conversation. So, be advised that you have hundreds of eaves-droppers: those who follow the threads you post on, or follow the people you post responses to, or follow the people who post responses to you, or just follow you. Nothing to be nervous about, though........
