Good morning Luis, OFF TOPIC I am so so sorry to hear about your father and hope that he will be able to get better. I suggest that he first of all be as comfortable as possible and not to make him take anything that he does not want to take. I would also suggest drinking as much water as he can and as much as he is allowed by the doctor and also if his doctor will allow and he is willing, to drink Aloe Vera Juice which can be bought at any health food store and also in the drug department at Walmart. Here are some suggestions that could possibly be of help, but the important thing is that they are approved by his doctor and also that your father is willing. Herbs that may be helpful are: black radish, dandelion, echinaccea, Jason Winders tea, Pau d'arco, red clover, suma and carnivora. If he is taking chemotherapy and having the any of the following side effects, hair loss, extreme nausea, vomiting, fatigue, weakness, sterility and kidney and heart damage, the following may be helpful: Vitamin B-6, coensyme Q-10 which help the body to avoid some the the damage done by this treatment. The supplement Niacin has been know to be helpful in Cancer treatment. Eat onions and garlic. Kyolic is an odorless form of specially prepared garlic. Eat ten raw almonds every day. They are high in Laetile, which acts as an anti-cancer agent. Avoid Stress. Exercise is important. DO NOT TAKE IRON SUPPLEMENTS . Excess iron may suppress the cancer-killing function of the macrophages (an important type of cell that helps to repair tissue) and interfere with T- and B-cell activity. Drink beet juice (from roots and tops), carrot juice and asparagus juice often. Dr. Hans Nieper, cancer researcher is using fresh cabbage and carrot juice with excellent results. Apple juice is also good. Fresh juice is always best. All anti-cancer diets should include grains, nuts, seeds and brown polished rice. Millet cereal is a good source of protein. Eat wheat, oat and bran. Eat plenty of cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage and cauliflower. Also consume yellow and deep orange vegetables such as cantaloupe, carrots, pumpkin, squash and yams. Apples, berries, Brazil nuts, cherries, grapes, legumes (including chickpeas, lentils and red beans), plums all help to fight cancer. The berries will protect DNA from damage. AVOID, sugar, alcohol, too much salt, hot dogs, luncheon meats, white flour. If tolerated, broiled fish is good. Luis, I have listed lots of things and I know that you cannot incorporate all of them but just introduce some these changes gradually as is tolerated by your father. The best to you and your family. Health and happiness to you and yours, Margaret
