Santiago, Will I be ostrasized as "one of them" if I say something now? First, You used the word Rapture. this comes from the Spanish word Rapare? That means to snatch away? Thats nice but I looked in 5 different versions of the Bible, looked in Strongs, looked in Interlinear...it is not there. Remember earlier when I said I looked only to the Bible for direction? I have seen this term used many times as "The Rapture" Where is the authority for that? Second, the Lord's return will not be in secret. The "as a thief in the night" scripture speaks only to the time, which we will not know. But if you look at Rev. 1:7 it says that "every eye shall see", and 1 Thess. 4:16 says that His coming will be heralded with a shout with a voice of the Archangel, and with the trump of God., Jesus return will be plainly seen and known. Thirdly, why is not the the tribulation of Matt. 24 the tribulation that was endured by Jerusalem 70AD? Fourthly, there is only one resurection look in John 5:28-29. Both good and evil. Fifthly, based on the Bible,Christ's Kingdom is not future but has been in existance for 2000 years now, because it is not an earthly kingdom but a Spiritual Kingdom. (John 18:36 KJV) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. In Rev. 1:9 John said what? (Rev 1:9 KJV) I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ , was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Or look at Mark 9:1 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power. This happened at Pentecost. And even when John wrote the revelation of Jesus what did He say. ""the things which SHORTLY must come to pass"". As the Church was under intense persecution, it is my belief that Jesus spoke of the things that they were going through not us some two thousand years later(although IMO all scripture speaks to us every day.) Now, how does the attack come, since I do not agree with many of your beliefs? Gonna compare me to Emile or just say "should have known" or what? Believe me I am looking for a spiritual home in heaven, not on this earth,as that is what even the followers of Jesus wanted then was an earthly King. But it was never about Jesus as an earthly King. But an ETERNAL KING!! Lord come quickly. dan
