Successful investor traits: I read a few months ago some professor did a study of this. He tried correlating personality traits with investment success to determine what type of personality would be best to look for in a person to manage other people's money. He found the best combination is an optimist suffering from depression. Pass the prozac, PW. (Grin!)

If one were to gather stats and develop a profile for 'cool heads' 80% of the following traits might be common to each one: How about a list of attributes of the "pain in the ass" posters who are constantly flaming people on these boards? 1: Very obese males from 25 to 45 2. Bathe weekly 2. Still live with Mother 3. Computer is on a desk in their bedroom. 4. Have never had a date. 5. Day traders, buy calls and puts and sell short, have never been long I am sure you guys can add to this list!
