My real "trading" began about a year ago. Becoming more hard core everyday. Much more profitable also. Lost 35k in 1996 holding stocks on margin during a correction, lost 10k last year peddling pennies, doing very well this year. I think you should expect to pay Wall street "tuition" initially, then gradually your tuition is pared down, then what the markets have taught you starts to bear fruit. Flunking out happens often. Don't shortchange the tools of the trade. Data, knowledge (books), work, and DISCIPLINE.

This thread just keeps getting better and better! Thanks for sharing all that you do with everyone. FA and TA count for alot, but by far discipline is most important, and sometimes hardest to learn!
