While I agree his comment was in bad taste, mostly due to the timing. Is this the first time you have heard a comment of this nature toward the president. Give me a break. Clinton is my Commander in Chief and is the "Top General" so to speak. Myself and those under and over me respect the office but never the man. We spend months in the desert going through all kinds of hardship and the guy is getting a hummer in his office. I know, he hasn't been convicted etc etc etc. It is just funny how every one he has come in contact with over the years just happens to be in jail, under indictment, or is resigning from the cabinet. The people that protect this country have said the same thing as this person at least once a month and would never be construed as a real threat to the Office of the President. And believe me, we have to take threats serious. His timing is bad but the joke was an old one and will be heard again, and again until this politically correct jerk is out of office. Only Clinton would appoint as the Secretary of Defense, a Senator that pissed off the Air Force so bad we added a base in his state to the closure list that wasn't on it and got it closed. Of course we will deny it to the end. <ggg> Plus, thanks to him I have the added incentive not to get shot. Because if I ever need a battlefield blood transfusion, I won't know if the guy that is giving me blood is a peter puffer or not. So if I survive the hit, I can always look forward to AIDS. Of course they have now had to cut our medical benefits because of the projected cost of treating these "don't ask, don't tell" crowds. Yeah. as you can tell, we love Clinton. Of course we can get more main stream since most aren't military here. He of course takes all the credit for this economy. Never mind he fought the congress on everything that made this possible. Didn't mean to rant but lets not treat this guy like a God.
