Great point about the absence of insider buying. Hadn't thought of it, and if there is no confidence at less than $2 dollar share, it makes me rethink whether buying any more shares is prudent. Why should I if Ken, Cal, Steve, the new Board members, etc. aren't buying

Patrick,

I don't think it is such a great point. I don't know how many times we have to rehash this but there are rules as to when insiders can buy. The top management and BOD are only allowed to buy starting 3 days after earnings are announced (giving the public a chance to digest earnings) then they can buy and they are given a couple week window. i.e. they could buy starting this week. If they do buy it won't be made public for roughly a month. I'll look for the insider buying reports in early September.

I fully expect they will buy. I have no proof of this statement except that I believe they still believe and you are correct that if they don't buy at these levels that that would make quite a negative statement.

With that said this management bashing is sickening. I know the stock price is sickening as well but c'mon guys. Rome wasn't built in 9 months and apparently Ancor wasn't either.

I also am F'n tired of hearing everyone's theory on why Brocade is doing so much better than Ancor (Software, Hardware, Location, Management, Public Relations, Advertising blah, blah, blah) stuff it!. The switch market has not come to fruition yet, simple as that. I don't see Brocade with that much yet (except Sequent and that is water long since penetrating the dam). This was a risk we were all aware of when we invested in this company.

They have regressed to a startup company now, but a start up company battling for a share of an untapped, very large, impending market - Switched FC Storage Area Networks. They have 10 years experiece, they are well positioned, and someone will be thrilled to take them under their wing. We will see who someone is in the next few months. Stock is an absolute steal here if you are willing to hold for 2-6 months IMO.

Steve
