Jack,

<<Its one of those touch pads...and I cannot control the mouse.>>

On the touch pad click <Start> (Or alt-S after logging off your browser.) Then click <Settings> (or Alt-S). Then <Control Panel> (or Alt-C.) Then <mouse> You can also use the arrows on your keyboard to navigate in that panel if the touchpad isn't working. When you get in mouse you can modify it, probably under <motion>. Again use the arrows on the keyboard or the "tab" key to move around the highlight from place to place.

You probably need to turn down motion speed.

Win95 can be run without a mouse but you need to pick things by Alt-(underlined letter) and move the cursor around with the arrow keys and "tab".

Jack, If Zebra's suggestion doesn't work, my cat will be glad to come over and sit on it for you. She's a laptop cat.
