Celeron = The enemy within (Intel) ?

Ironic that Intel has chosen to castrate the Pentium II of it's cache...the very thing that made the chip what it was.

Maxwell,

I don't know why you are so joyous. What this tells you is that consumers are favoring INEXPENSIVE computers. So much for high price PII.

The sales of every Celeron represents the $100+ income reduction from Intel revenue. The introduction of Celeron brought down the Intel ASP at least $30.

Not only Intel gets less revenue, the end-users get rip off by this crippled processor which is the works of incompetent Intel dancing jerks.

The price difference between "Celeron" and "Celeron with 512K L2 cache" is so huge that it makes the buyers for either of them look extremely stupid.
