**Genesys today announced that Michael J. McCloskey has been elected as its President.

Gregory Shenkman will be leaving his position as President and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Shenkman will continue to serve as a member of the Company's Board of Directors. McCloskey joined the Company in September 1996 as its Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, International, and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in September 1997.**

This is great news for anyone who knows the upper management of Genesys.

<How Low Can This One Go? Is this a time to jump in?>

It can go lower no doubt but this (and yesterday in particular) are very good prices IMO. At yesterday's close the stock trades a little over 30 times fwd 12 mo earnings. GCTI is now my largest holding.

BTW, I view yesterday's announcement to move McCloskey into the president position as VERY positive. This company needs to execute and reinforce its mgt structure to get to $500mm in revenue. McCloskey is well equipped to get the job done.

BTWBTW, I have heard recently that the pipeline for the company over the next 2 qtrs is very robust and that we should see sequential growth Q4 (just ended) to Q1. This would be a significant accomplishment given the fact that Q1's in sw companies are always weak and this falls in the summer.

Still Patient,
Bobo
