Dear rruff, I traded with Waterhouse for yrs. for $35. one way , when they introduced Web-Broker I did handsprings although I did have another real active acct. that I used alot more than waterhouse . One of the main thing I do like is the ability to specify "all or none" on the trade. Which is something you can't do w/some of the others . If one does alot of trading bookkeeping turns into a major hassle . I'm not totally negative on Waterhouse . Don't want to get into a E-Trade situation where the brokerage doesn't keep up with the influx of new customers (which they have admitted to me that they have done a poor job of ) Waterhouse is alot better than some of the full service brokers especially if you are a mutual fund trader or someone who makes all their own investment decisions. Why pay for it if you don't use it? Remember do your own homework . Best of Luck . Remember if a stock doesn't go up, don't buy it ... ( Will Rodgers)
