RRanney: That is really significant. My guess is that we at the beginning of a sea change. The overall market may slow our progress but things are changing for Agouron and in the right direction.

This is a pretty basic question but I have not seen it discussed on this thread: What are the implications of the new stock for current short sellers? If there still short on the effective date, won't they have to replace the new stock that existing holders will be entitled to like any other dividend? Could this lead to a rethinking of the short case? Would be interested to know what has happened in other cases. mumbles
