Just to answer this point once and for all: Quite simply because there is no evidence that there WON'T be disuption of the global economy due to the Y2K glitch. In the same vein, there is no evidence that all the emeralds in the world WON'T turn blue on January 1, 2000. This so-called "killer point" is just rhetoric. Basically it tries to ask Y2K-cynics to prove a negative. That is logically impossible, and anyone's failure to do so means absolutely nothing. Been on vacation (paid for, in part, by the fine people on this board. Thank you.), working through the last week of posts. So far quite entertaining...
