(Sort of Off Topic)

I tried to find out on the IBM thread, but couldn't get any useful response.

I saw an ad in the paper this week for custom built desk tops with IBM processors. I always feel like a dummy when I discover something that I think I should have known all along. How long has IBM been making processors for consumer PCs? I try to keep up with what's going into products at the retail level, but this one caught me totally by surprise. It looks like they have a variety of products up to 233s. Not exactly INTC or AMD but good enough for low to mid range. If anyone could shed a little light on the subject, I'd appreciate it.
