William, it depends on the book. I see prices range from about $1 to more than $10. Some sell used books so they can offer even better savings. Most will be small differences but even $1 can be worth it if it's not much more effort. You see once you find the price and place you want to shop when you click to the sight the book you want comes up so it's very easy to do. Yes if you've never used the company you do need to take additional time to fill out your info. I'm willing to take the extra effort to use any source I want. I will not be tied into one company because it's just "Amazon". If I was a stockholder I'd probably think a little differently.
