AMAT thread reports that copper technology for IBM is a small fraction of production... like 100's of their 20,000 wafers per month (week?)... on order of 1% or more

what astounds me is that analysts lower estimates and dont downgrade... Adams Harkness retained reco on NVLS to Market Perform... if I were analyst I would be embarrassed to say that

Japan stock reaction IMO will be to sell very soon following these leaderless times in their political scene... many publications expect lack of LDP mandate, fractious parliament, coalition battles coming, etc to result in lots of debate, little leadership, nothing gets done... my take is nothing gets done because bank problem is one of two enormous problems... other is colossal BOND MARKET BUBBLE of equal proportion as 1980's, with equal consequences if broken

if and when Nikkei sells off, begun last week, then chips and equips may be triggered into another fall
