I'm a holder of TMF and I added some the other day, albeit a little early. Current discount is 21.53% which is 2.42 percentage points below the 13-week moving average of the discount. A strong short-term buy would be 5 points or more below the MA, but in absolute terms the fund is trading at a very attractive discount at the same time that its share price has declined to an historical low. The weakness in the small-caps has been just awful for my portfolio, and TMF is no exception. A rapid glance at the share prices of the Thermo group in the ASE listings shows many of them trading at or near 52-week lows. Is this a moment of great pessimism, signaling a buy?
