Things bother me about the lawsuit, and the recent extraordinary behaviour of the so-called NEW Management, who have thumped their chest long and loud about how good they are. For themselves they have negotiasted an outrageously fat CONTRACT BUT FOR THE COMPANY THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT COMMIT A LOT OF MONEY TO A VERY QUESTIONABLE JV IN ALBERTA. The July meetings of NDR and LTL were a total fiasco up to the adjounment. Management reminded me of a bunch of chickens that had been topped. Glenn Laing leaped onto his horse and rode off in all directions. Howard Miller ( the guy who is suing) tried to control the meeting, and was prevented by the company lawyer, with Glenn Laing hiding behind him. By making some inquiries after my blood stopped boiling I now find that Miller, the suer ( I wonder about that spelling) & Laing, together with two of the newly proposed Directors are all close associates and members of a cosy little group, which calls itself the Board of Directors, of Nelson Gold Corp, a TSE listed co. No doubt Laing will have resigned meantime but none of these guys are strangers to each other. I am not sure how Mr laing reconciles his posture on both sides of the fence combined with his total lack of performance. Personally I wish they would ALL slither back into the hole from whence they came whether it be diamond drilled or reverse circ, or whatever. This company was created by Harry Dobson, Desmond Alexander and David Whittle from a standing start and I for one don't need to see a takeover group moving in with obvious intent. As far as I can see from what little information is available Nelso Gold was not particularly rewarding for the public stockholders. I don't think we've heard the ;ast of this matter. Miller claims to have more than 5 million share under control and Mr Laing has significant holdings as do Mr Dobson, and Crabbe Huson in Portland, OR. I wonder where the volume is coming from or perhaps going to is more important. Hope this doesn't confuse you Trev
