Have the momentum players for the earnings report already come into Cisco and are just playing the volatility game now? Or are they about to enter and drive this stock to the $110 dollar range before earnings. My feelings are that momentum players don't like to be in one stock for more than a week or two so they should be arriving this week. Asia is always a concern and could drive "fears" into these players and leave them on the sidelines for this earnings report leaving this stock in the 95-105 range. JMO's.

devans,

Re.

I see no evidence that customer service, or brand recognition, or sales channels are any easier to develop than technology.

It's true that the above are by no means easy to develop; however, the so-called "entry barriers" (to keep out competitors) are relatively low--the latter is one of the major elements used in competitive analysis.
