Yes, it is that fear of "missing the boat" that caused my last mistake. Interesting how greed and fear are not only seen to be opposite sides of the spectrum, but they can actually cooperate in the motivation of a trader's actions.

They more I learn about the market, the more I am reluctantly finding myself in what I see. The difference is in degree and my knowledge of what I am capable of after seeing what others are capable of and watching me make mistakes based on the same kind of reasons. There has to be a gene that is a basic part of the human being's gene structure like those for eyes and ears for this behavior since it is so prevalent across cultures and generations of people. But I suspect it more has to do with a "meme" passed from generation to generation that has to do with a person's relationship to money.
