I wouldn't place any significance on that. First of all the 2 strong buys from before were wrong since CRUT had one of its analysts dropped from covering Vivus. Who was the moderate buy in the first place? Was it Pain Webber?

Alien, Genesis Merchant went from a buy to a hold and the Pain Webber went from a hold to a strong buy. Nobody went from a buy to a strong buy. The 3 strong buys should really be 2, one from PW and the other from CRUT. The 3 holds are from Genesis, First Boston and Daine Bosworth. It looks to me like DAIN was accumulating the past few days. CRUT used to have 2 analysts covering Vivus. Now there is just one. I only know of 5 analysts covering Vivus. If there are more then let me know who they are.
