Yes, Ramsey, I noticed the damn aerial too! Must be 6 months old at least. Thanks for the political rants on China. You have totally gone political but I think that's great. My jaw was hanging down reading about China and taking on the PLA.

Those bosses of China now seem to really have the bit between their teeth. They must think they are going to do a new and improved version of Singapore. For those who don't know, Singapore under Lee Kuan Yew and some really strict rules, such as flogging for graffiti, no chewing gum on the footpath made one of the fastest developments [maybe the fastest ever] from a backwater tropical dump to a premier civilization in the top ranks of per capita wealth.

If 1.2bn people get going like that, the 21st century will have a major Chinese influence and they will buy a LOT of cdmaOne and cdma2000 devices. And sooner rather than later.

Gorby lost it in Russia, but showed that an individual with a little bit of backing can make a big impact. If the new bosses of China can keep the graft and rabble in check, [unlike Russia where crime is allegedly rampant], while making these changes you describe, then Qualcomm is going to be in the box seat soon.

Wow!

Hey, what inventory? "That may be why QC has so much inventory sitting around right now." I thought they can't run their handset production lines fast enough to fill orders. It can't be both. What are you talking about?
