I well remember Eli. I had owned IBM at 100+ (pre-split), but managed to get out with a small profit when it was going down. I started to get back in when it reached the 40's, but was too gunshy. Let's say I zigged when I should have zagged. I am loaded up to my eyeballs in SGI. Let's hope it is another IBM, otherwise I may be zagging when I should be zigging.

Here is another perspective: SGI is no IBM!

Does anyone know what the "book value" for this stock is? What about SGI as an nice takeover target with its price being at this level? I heard a rumor that SUNW may have been interested in SGI.

SGI has a good R&D and $750M in cash reserves, and possibly bad management, any takers?
