Hey Bull, IMHO ~ if I were stupid enough to short a possible takeover, I would (taking into account that I was that idiotic and numb from the neck up - and for sure I'm not), buy the puts (only) thereby, limiting my loss to a few points per thousand shares. Now Bull, doesn't that make sense to you, or did you get your brains knocked out at the rodeo doing what your name suggests.. As my name suggest, I do take on risk from time to time - but fooling around on the short side with a rumored takeover is ~ AMATEURISH, FOOLISH AND PLAIN WRONGHEADED.. Sorry I can't close with "Good Luck" as I am hedged this one - a tad bit on the long side hoping for a delay then a big event, BUY-OUT. Regards, Ax
