New product announcements are coming out next week.

Sorkin is spending sleepless nights thinking about acquisitions. It is hoped to happen within the next 3 to 6 months, earlier the better. They are in talks with about 5 companies.

They project total year-end sales to be about $135M for fiscal 1998. Taking out my calculator and subtracting first 3 quarters of total sales, gives about $43M projected sales for the 4Q. (Am I dreaming?)

How they manage the cost of the planned aquisition(s) with their share value being so low, I don't know. Cash plus a bank loan? On the other hand, any purchase price in excess of about $30M - $40M they said they intend to use their shares for the purchase, and they will use the cash for smaller acquisitions.

Sorkin forecasts total BI sales by year-end fiscal 1998 to be $22M. He also is projecting a 45$ - 50% growth rate in BI sales next year, for total projected BI sales of being greater than $100M.

All this adds up very positively. Given the extreme volatility in this stock over the last few years, my continued optimism, quite frankly, is beginning to wear very thin.

I remain long.
