It is better to be swimming downstream than to try to fight the trend in the group. I think
we will see a major downturn in the inet stocks within the next couple of weeks -
probably sooner than later.

I sure hope you are correct!

Glenn

Rs<Amazon.com is among the best looking shorts>
I know that you've been around here for as long as Glen, and I, but tell me how is Amzn the best looking short, when even God can't get the shares to short. Are you missing something? or did you not buy to cover?

The "Teflon Dons" of the investment world - the internet stocks, are selling off in unison for the first time in several weeks. Take a look at the quotes for; ATHM, BVSN, CNWK, ELNK, FVHI, LCOS, MSPG, NSCP, NSOL, OMKT, OZEMY, PSIX, RMII, SEEK, SPYG.

Here's another index to look at - down over 6%; fast.quote.com

This signals that rather than seeing more of the rotation within the group, as momentum money chased from one hot internet momentum play after the other, the momo money is now dropping out of the sector entirely.

AMZN is down despite news on minor deals and a lame brokers buy recommendation. The brokers/investment bankers that have been pumping the sector may find that their opportunity for bilking billions from the public is over the short term.
