IMO (not that it counts), I don't care who has the bills and where they get delivered. It just has to be easy and fast to pay, if a bank can do this, fine by me, if Quicken can do that, that's good to. I need:

1. It to be very Easy.
2. To be Web Based.
3. To be able to find an updated balance after I hit the pay bill button.
4. To be Error free.
5. To receive and pay all bills at one location

As a consumer, who ever can do this first, I will go with them.

Benny(IMHO)

If the key repository of information is the desktop, don't you think that MS will eventually make this a part of Windows?

<<And we do have an exclusive on that Portal, good start.>>

Great start. Now we have to find a way to get an exclusive on all the moms and pops using Quickbooks, for both payment and presentment. Any ideas?

Charlie

>>>So who does Paper? US Post Office, FedX, UPS... But bills are mostly going thru the US Post Office, Right?

Presentment is Mail, OK...we are talking that instead of mailing paper...we propose to 'digitally transmit'.

Something else came out in that blabber....why don't we partner with one of these guys to deliver bills under their respective BRANDS digitally over the internet? On their Sites...EnABLE these PAPER PUSHERS to offer state of the art web based services to their clients.

Thinking out loud...

Please, excuse my ignorance. I was not following discussions too close lately. I don't understand why someone who doesn't use CF for payment would need CF for presentment only.

Let's say my local gas company wants to send me a bill through email. They have all billing information and my email address. Why would they send it all to CF, ask to forward it to me without adding any value and pay for that. If they are able to send it to CF, they are able to send it directly to me as well.
TIA
