John - when I've got a lot of catching up to do on the DELL thread (like I've been away for 6 hours on Saturday and there are 85 posts) I scan for your posts (and maybe a couple others). I LOVE the stats you're able to share on DELL. Is there anywhere that DELL stats could be saved.... like maybe a special thread. It's a shame to have this valuable information lost in the hundreds of messages that flow through this thread each day. Would certainly be nice to have a place to refer to these factual goodies. (maybe there is a place and I just don't know about..... if so please point me in the right direction!)

regards,
laura

John,
Hi!!! That was a marvelous post...well put and it did sound like a combination of some of the Dell cheerleaders doing a medley on why DELL IS THE NEXT DELL....make no mistake about the one possible exception to this success continuing...

<<The only thing, IMO, to stop Dell right now is MD,TM,and co. getting the big head....you won't let them get that now, would you Kemble>>

One of the first things that truly impressed me about Michael and his leadership group was the lack of arrogance..no matter how successful you become..... crossing that incredibly thin line of confidence to one of arrogance and complacency....that will defeat anyone.....I have frequently mentioned this in any number posts or in conversation....the responses that have come to me in private messages are unbelievable...so many have just had to tell me...you are so right...this guy is for real...the team is for real...take for instance that scene in the lobby prior to the shareholders.....Michael was so taken back by the throng of people who were lining up just to say hello to him...I ask you...do you think for one moment he could fake the look on his face when he saw that line forming?? There was a ton of pride displayed by that smile...but, not one ounce of arrogance...

Best, kemble
